KALAMAZOO –  Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week is celebrating its 15th year during the week of February 1 – 8, 2025. Events and specials highlighting local craft beverage makers will take place all throughout the week at breweries, wineries, distilleries, bars and restaurants around Kalamazoo County.

For the second year, local artists can get involved in a design contest for a commemorative sticker that will be available during the event week. Last year, Heather Picardat’s playful design with a bear balancing a beer on its foot won the community vote and was printed up on 2,000 stickers.

Organizers are seeking designs that incorporate Kalamazoo and the craft beverage industry in a fun creative way. Designs can be submitted online up through December 3rd and afterwards the community will be able to vote for their favorite. Voting will be done online as well as in person at participating craft beverage locations where votes will count as double. The one receiving the most community votes will be selected as the winning design to print on stickers distributed during the 2025 Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week and the winning artist will receive recognition along with a $200 cash prize.

Each year, more than 100 events and specials take place during Kalamazoo Craft Beverage Week with offerings like unique food and drink pairing sessions, make and take crafts, exclusive releases, tours, meet and greet events with the craft beverage makers, yoga sessions with tastings, trivia and games. Many of the events involve special collaborations with local businesses that display the creativity of the craft beverage makers. The listings of events and craft beverage specials for 2025 will be posted in January.

Lodging packages will also be available on the site so visitors can plan ahead and book their stay in Kalamazoo for the week.
